Benmer is a reference tool that maps the connections between people, organisations and events as publicly reported. Benmer is not a court, not a regulator and not a law enforcement body.

Not a finding of guilt

Appearing on the map does not mean that a person or an organisation did anything wrong. Many entries are witnesses, victims, officials doing their jobs, or people named only because they are connected to an event.

Everyone is presumed innocent until a final and binding court verdict. The verdicts shown reflect what sources reported on their date; a verdict can be appealed, overturned or pardoned, and the map may not yet show the latest position.

Allegations are labelled as allegations

A dashed connection is a claim, a charge or an investigation that no court has upheld. It is shown because it has been publicly reported, not because Benmer says it is true. Reported denials or responses are shown beside it.

The information comes from third parties

Every connection cites the publication it comes from, with a link to the original. Benmer summarises those reports and does not investigate the events independently.

Sources can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Read the original source before relying on anything here.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice. The site's content must not be used as the basis for decisions about a person, including on employment, credit, renting or business.

Neutrality

Benmer is not affiliated with any political party, candidate or government body, and takes no money from them. The same sourcing rules apply to everyone.
